Armando served as the President of the Hispanic Soccer Referee Association that provided service to DC, MD and VA.
As a result of his soccer relationship with the community, he was hired by Major League Soccer (MLS) team DC United as Manager of Latin Community & Corporate Programs in 2002, and spent 10 years in their Marketing department before transitioning to other endevors.
Armando is the former president of the Maryland International Soccer League (adult); one of several top leagues in the state of Maryland.
After adult soccer, he transitioned to working in youth soccer, and is the current director of the Maryland International Soccer Club.
